Our SUICIDE LOSS groups take place every second Saturday at 4pm (EST). Due to the improvement of the Covid-19 situation, meetings will be held virtually and the option of attending the meeting in person is now in effect. The in-person location is close to the Queen Mary Metro in Montreal. Should you choose to attend the session(s) virtually, secure settings and an invite only protocol ensures the confidentiality of our group. Participants can join to listen in via an audio feed only or can take part with the video portion as well.  GROUP WALKS: Location- Mont Royal (Smith House) These walks are an opportunity to foster a sense of community that can be difficult to attain in meetings alone. While discussions pertaining to suicide loss are always welcome, the main focus is to connect in a less formal environment. DATES- MONTHLY (TBA)

RELAXATION/MEDITATION and IN-PERSON groups. There are many benefits of meditation for grief and loss. We can’t always predict what thoughts, feelings, or sensations will arise. Many times this sudden loss leaves us feeling numb, overwhelmed, angry. Whatever arises, the pain is often intense. The rollercoaster of emotions and sensations associated with loss can sometimes feel like too much to handle. While relaxation techniques/meditation won’t change the way we feel and the fact that we have to move through our healing journey, it does help to periodically take a vacation from our thoughts and feelings and take the time to focus solely on our wellbeing. From now on we will begin our in person meetings with a 40 minute relaxation (closing our eyes and just listening to a guided meditation & soft music) followed by our usual in person discussion group. You are welcome to come exclusively to either the meditation group, the discussion group or both. DATES- ONCE A MONTH (TBA)

POT LUCK DINNERS Twice yearly, this social event is an invitation to everyone to prepare a favorite dish and bring it to share with fellow members.

POTLUCK Sunday, May 12th 2-4pm
Friday, September 27th 5:30-6:30pm
